Yes my first choice is the tps, my second choice is the idle air controller.
A lot of people think the idle air controller only affects the car at idle, or when cold but this is not always true. It affects driveability through larger range than that. Once you have a car that has a known good working idle air controller, unplug it once and see how the car acts even after your moving well along, modulate the throttle and see how laggy it will have become.
I say replace your tps, you already gotten all the money your ever going to get out of the first one, and if you do the work yourself you'll have saved enough money just on the labor cost alone to justify the upgrade. Even if that's not it, it will be soon. Are you not setting any codes?, you've got to be, that will narrow it down for you. Swing into one of the big box autoparts franchises and have them diagnose it for you for free. Write it down.

The precision is the religion for me!
