all that im gonna say is that you should worrie about other things on the car than paint. Fix the dent or try to pop it before you paint. Also if your planning on painting at home, where are you painting? what kinda paint are you using and are you clearing

ya ima fix what i can. i got like 2 spots of rust to fix first.

but its tractor paint, so its extremly durable. no clear. its the same stuff dad had on the 50 ford and it looked pretty good.
and will be in the driveway on a non windy day lol. thats how all of our cars have been painted.

but i know ima have to do some bondo which i was gonna start on today but its 37 degrees lol.

My buddy used Rustoleum to paint his 1983 Crown Victoria with a BRUSH and Roller! It didn't look too bad from 15 feet away. It was garbage can silver, bright as heck too!

There's a write up somewhere on using Rustoleum as car paint. Quite a few cars I've seen looks pretty good.

While youre at TSC, look for a small can of enamel hardener,
makes that tractor paint even better.

Remember, paint hides no sins of the bodywork, so sand and do your
puttywork, and spray some primer and
sand

sand

sand

then sand some more. hit with last coat of primer, then do the color,
and let dry. that hardener makes wet sanding much easier, and last for buffing
a gloss on it, since you're doing a non-clearcoat finish outside, so you can
wetsand the bugs and dust out

you have a HVLP gun, or standard spray gun? watch which thinner
you use when its cool or humid out.

If I was repainting I would do a dark Purple with neon green pinstripe or side decals. I think that would look sweet.
