im studying for it, hope to take the essentials in a cpl weeks.

looking for any programs to help study for it, if anyone knows of any let me know. and also any tips as this is a big step for me.

the tests are 150 a pop, but i have to take 2 to become certified. and financial aid should cover it.

i had a chance a few years ago to take them for 75 a pop but of course i was in high school and didnt take it seriously (yes im kicking my own butt right now believe me)

so anyway let me know of any progs or tips or anything

CompTIA A+ is a good start if you are new to the field. I took the hardware one years ago but never got around to doing the software one.

I have 11 years experience, so its an easy test for me.

ya they now have changed it. its no longer hardware and os. its now essentials and then the tech, depot, or remote support tests.

had a chance to take it when it was hardware and os but as i said i was stupid and didnt take it seriously lol
