on the aussie ones, its just twist the end of the wiper stalk,
maybe it was one without wiper and just got another tailgate put on it that had a wiper but nothing has been connected up?

Are you in the US? I don't believe we had them here as OEM. Canada did though.

I always wanted one with that option. Kinda the grass is always greener on the other side deal. I think Mic once said he would rather have one that didn't have the wiper cuz all the auzies have them LOL

it is on the multi function switch like jester said. if you don't have one someone may have put a hatch on there and did not wire it in. I would say snag a dash switch from an escort wagon and then wire it into the aspire setup.

I've got one with a rear wiper now. I added it on from a wrecked car.

The rear wiper switch is on the end of the wiper handle. I had to replace the unit in the steering column that has the headlight switch arm and wiper switch arm on it to get the switch for it.

Doing this upgrade also gave me intermittent wipers!

I have two '95 Aspires... one is a base with many upgrades and the other is an SE! Check out my car collection at:

Just seen this... No. This hatch was wipe and defrost only. Non-SE...
