Besides the obvious, you'll need the trans mounts and the brace. The manual starter and flywheel. The starter's do not interchange, they spin in different directions. The clutch is cable release, so the trans bracket for that too. The axles, and if/when you do the front brakes on this car ever again, you'll ask for brakes/rotors/calipers for an auto type car, because all of that stuff is slightly larger/different.

The precision is the religion for me!

Hey I did this swap in my car. I did the auto trans swapped to a manual trans. You need the transmission, shifter, clutch and brake pedal assembly, clutch cable, flywheel, clutch kit, axles, and starter. You can keep the same ecu manual or auto.

I got the transmission from a 97 aspire. You could probably use one from a festiva if you grab the cross memeber and mounts. You could use the festiva flywheel and clutch too, probably even the shifter.

check out this thread http://fordaspire.5.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=3009&hl= I did a write up on the 2nd or 3rd page. it will explain everything you need to do. I did some getto rigging by using the automatic transmission cross member with manual transmission mounts. you should grab a manual one with the mounts and it will bolt to the car no problem.
